The information OMZIVO processes depends on how you use the platform. It may include:
OMZIVO uses personal data where necessary to operate, secure and improve the platform and to provide the services requested by users. This includes using information to:
When you use Marketplace or Food & Fresh, OMZIVO may process information about the products or services you view, order or purchase, together with the information necessary to fulfil the transaction. Relevant information may be provided to the merchant, seller, provider, courier or other party involved in completing the order.
For Delivery & Moving services, OMZIVO may process pickup and destination information, sender and recipient details, service instructions, parcel or item information, routing information and evidence relating to collection, custody, delivery or completion.
Where supported by the service, this may include timestamps, barcode or QR scans, photographs, signatures or other confirmation needed to establish the status of a delivery or service and to investigate missing, damaged or disputed items.
When you search for or book accommodation through OMZIVO Stay, we may process booking dates, guest and contact information, accommodation details, payment and transaction information, booking communications and information necessary to administer the stay.
Information necessary to fulfil a booking may be shared with the relevant accommodation operator or service provider.
Certain OMZIVO features may request access to device capabilities such as location, camera or notifications. These permissions are used only where required for the relevant functionality and are subject to the controls available on your device.
Location information may be used for functions such as identifying an address, calculating or supporting routes, coordinating a delivery or service, or displaying location-relevant services.
Camera access may be used for supported functions such as scanning barcodes or QR codes, attaching service evidence, documenting an incident or confirming collection or delivery. OMZIVO does not treat permission to use a device feature as permission to use information for unrelated purposes.
Payments may be processed through authorised payment service providers. OMZIVO may receive and retain information such as payment status, transaction identifiers, amounts, timestamps, refund information and reconciliation records needed to administer the transaction.
Where refunds, cancellations, reversals or payment disputes occur, relevant transaction information may be retained and processed to investigate and resolve the matter and to meet accounting, fraud-prevention or legal requirements.
OMZIVO may use service providers or infrastructure located outside the country in which a user is located. Where personal data is transferred internationally, OMZIVO takes appropriate measures required by applicable data-protection law to protect the information and the rights of affected individuals.
OMZIVO retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for legitimate operational, contractual, accounting, security, dispute-resolution and legal requirements.
Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the service involved. For example, transaction, booking, payment, delivery, support, safety or fraud-prevention records may need to be retained after an account is closed where they are required to resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse or establish and defend legal claims.
OMZIVO uses administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse. Access to personal data should be limited according to operational need and appropriate access controls.
No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their account credentials, use appropriate device security and never disclose passwords, verification codes or authentication secrets to another person.
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may have rights relating to your personal data, including rights to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of certain processing, to object to certain processing, and to request portability of eligible information.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent subject to applicable law. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before the consent was withdrawn.
Certain information cannot always be deleted immediately, including information OMZIVO must retain for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, safety, contractual or dispute-resolution purposes.
You may request closure of your OMZIVO account and, where applicable, deletion of eligible personal data. Closing an account does not automatically require deletion of information that OMZIVO is legally entitled or required to retain.
Before completing a deletion request, OMZIVO may need to verify the identity of the requester and determine whether unresolved transactions, payments, claims, safety incidents, investigations or legal obligations require particular records to be preserved.
OMZIVO services are not intended to be used in a manner that violates applicable age or capacity requirements. Where a particular service is subject to additional age restrictions or verification requirements, those requirements must be satisfied before the service may be used.
OMZIVO may update this Privacy Policy when its services, technology, operational practices or legal requirements change. The current version will be made available through OMZIVO's website and, where appropriate, its applications.
If a change materially affects how personal data is handled, OMZIVO may provide additional notice where required or appropriate.
